Seniors, it's not to late to attend a college on-site visit!  You will find out during your on-site visit if you have been accepted to the college!  No application fees!

Peace College - May 8 (9:00-11:00) in the Career Center

(a) Sign up for an appointment in the Career Center to meet with Peace College Admissions Representatives by  Wednesday, May 6  (schedule your Peace College appintment, during your lunch time).
(b) Request transcript in Student Services.
(c) Complete Peace College Application and give to Mrs. Canada in the Career Center, by Wednesday, May 7th.

Wake Tech Community College - May 15 (10:30-1:00) in the Career Center

*WTCC applications are in the Career Center

Wake Technical Community College (WTCC) Admissions will be at LRHS.  All students planning to attend Wake Technical Community College in the Fall 2008, should attend this meeting:  
1.  Students who have never applied to WTCC or 2.  Students who have applied and admitted, and need to register for Fall classes:

*Students who have never applied:
(1) Sign up for an appointment in the Career Center to meet with Wake Tech Admissions Representatives by Tuesday, May 13th (schedule your appintment with WTCC, during your lunch time).
(2) Request transcript in Student Services.
(3) Complete WTCC Application and give to Mrs. Canada in the Career Center, by Tuesday, May 13th.

*Students who have applied and admitted, and need to register for Fall classes: (1) Sign up for an appointment in the Career Center to meet with Wake Tech Admissions Representatives by Tuesday, May 13th (schedule your appintment with WTCC, during your lunch time). Business Alliance at Leesville Road High School provides advice, contacts and services to students regarding career activities/events. 

Career and Technical Education Exams

·       ASVAB is given to any student who may be interested in going into the military.

·       VOCATS is given to all students that take CTE courses, as their final exam.

Financial Aid

·       The Financial Aid Program sponsored by the Wake County Public School System is available at Leesville Road High School.  This program is designed to help students and their parents locate financial aid for post secondary education.  If you or your parents have questions regarding financial aid, and/or completing the FAFSA, please contact Student Services at

YMCA Application (Word/PDF)

“Interview Fridays” will be conducted on all Fridays that we are in school. There will be an employer interviewing on campus every Friday for part-time jobs in the Raleigh area. The interviews will take place between 11:00-12:30. Please sign up in the Career Center with Mrs. Canada, Career Development Coordinator if you are interested. Remember to dress to impress! If students have additional questions, please see Mrs. Canada.
