SAM AND SPAN: The Registration Process
The registration process will begin for the 2005-06 school year in January. The course list, Program Planning Guide, and Pathways are posted on our web site. Go to leesville.org, Departments, and Student Services to see these documents.
During the months of January and February, counselors will be conducting junior conferences with eleventh graders to discuss post-secondary plans. During these conferences, students will review and list senior year courses on their Graduation Plans. Sophomores and freshmen will be meeting with counselors to complete Graduation Plans in March.
Teachers will enter recommendations in SAM (School Assistant Module) in February. The recommendations made in SAM can be viewed in SPAN (Student/Parent Access Network). Parents and students will have accounts set up by the school in order to access SPAN.
During the months of February and March, parents and students should discuss Graduation Plans, teacher’s recommendations, and course selections. In early April, students will enter course selections in SPAN.
