REQUESTING TRANSCRIPTS
 

Leesville Road High School is working to make requesting and sending transcripts easier for you! If you are a currently enrolled student, choose one of the options below. Former students within the last 5 years should follow option 2. Former students who attended a WCPSS high school more than 5 years ago should contact WCPSS Central Records at (919) 850-1638.

•  Electronic Transcript Requests

Docufide Secure Transcripts . ( www.docufide.com - hotlink to this page) Transcripts can be requested and delivered electronically through this system to any college or university in the country. The cost per transcript is $5. Transcripts that are delivered electronically usually arrive at the college or university within 24 hours. Transcripts that are mailed by Docufide usually arrive within 7 days.

•  Paper Requests for Transcripts

You may also request a transcript from the Registrar in your high school Student Services Office. A transcript should be requested 5-7 days before you need it to be mailed. There is no charge for the first 3 transcripts each school year, and there is a $3 charge for each additional transcript. After receiving written permission from the parent, the transcripts will be sent to any college, university, or organization requested.

Additional Transcript Information

•  There is no charge for the following paper transcript requests.

•  Mid-year senior year transcript

•  Final transcript after graduation to the college or university that you will attend

•  Transcripts for any scholarship or award requested by the high school scholarship committee

Please complete a transcript request form at your school and turn in to your high school Registrar. These transcripts will then be sent through US Mail.

•  Scholarship requests – You may request a transcript from the Registrar in your high school Student Services Office for scholarship applications. Follow the same procedures listed in “Paper Requests for Transcripts”. A transcript should be requested 5-7 days before you need it to be mailed.

•  In order for a transcript to be “official,” it must be:

•  delivered electronically through Docufide,

•  sent from the high school office to the college, university, or organization without the student or parent handling it.

•  Official transcripts for current students are available each year by the 20 th school day.
