Dear Leesville Road High School Parents:

Welcome to the 2005-2006 school year at Leesville Road High School.  During the summer months, our staff worked hard in terms of planning for this school year.  These efforts focused primarily on promoting excellence in academics and extracurricular activities for our students.  However, a key ingredient to the attainment of any goals established by our staff will continue to be the support received by our school from the homes of our students.  As a result, your involvement throughout the school year with school-affiliated parent groups (such as the PTSA, Pride Athletic Club, Academic Boosters, Pride Productions, Performing Arts Boosters, and Bands Club) will be encouraged and greatly appreciated.  You also are encouraged to visit our campus regularly, especially during our students’ performances in extracurricular events.  The Leesville Road High School experience is meant to be a very positive one for our students and parents.  Thus, I hope all parents will seek opportunities to become involved in multiple aspects of our school’s total program.

Your continued support of our students and staff is greatly appreciated. The strong parental support associated with Leesville Road High School throughout its history has been, and will continue to be, a major factor in any success experienced by our student body and staff.  Therefore, the strong bond between the parents and our school’s staff must be maintained.  As a staff, we will give our best efforts to maintain this relationship.  Nonetheless, we need your help to continue Leesville Road High School’s tradition as a “special” educational environment for all of us.

Respectfully,

Stephen Gainey
